Situated in Colombo 07, the Residence at Horton Place is a 12,000 sq. ft. two-story tropical modern sanctuary. The design integrates open-plan living areas, private office zones, and bedroom suites with lush exterior verandah. A material palette of rich dark wood joinery, woven rattan, titanium-cement flooring, and textured stone tiles creates a serene, light-filled atmosphere. Sunlight filtering through perimeter landscaping casts dynamic dappled shadows throughout the interior, delivering a climate-responsive home that harmonizes contemporary architectural rigor with Sri Lankan material craft.
